Location: GurgaonAbout the roleWe are looking for a curious, execution-focused Program Intern to support programs across DeHaat’s MDC retail network.

You will work with business and field teams to turn ideas into pilots, track execution, solve operational gaps and build repeatable processes.An AI and technology-first approach is central to this role. You should enjoy exploring how data, AI tools and simple automations can improve everyday work—and taking those solutions through to actual adoption.What you will doSupport program execution: Translate objectives into action plans, timelines, trackers and follow-ups. Coordinate with store, field and central teams to keep activities moving and escalate blockers.Help run Retail initiatives: Support programs involving farmer engagement, village representatives, loyalty, hyperlocal delivery and store productivity, depending on business priorities.Build practical automations: Identify repetitive tasks and create workflows for data collection, reminders, reporting and exception tracking using spreadsheets, no-code tools or basic scripts.Use AI in everyday work: Apply AI tools to research, analyse feedback, draft SOPs, summarise reviews and prototype solutions. Validate outputs against source data before using them.Track performance: Maintain accurate program data and dashboards, identify gaps and turn findings into clear actions with owners and deadlines.Run and improve pilots: Help define success measures, gather feedback from users, document learnings and recommend improvements before wider rollout.Drive adoption: Create simple guides, support user training and check whether tools and processes are being used effectively.Who we are looking forA final-year student or recent graduate in engineering, business, economics, analytics or a related field. Demonstrated ability matters more than the degree.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring structure to an unclear task.Working proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.Hands-on use of AI tools beyond basic content generation.Clear communication, attention to detail and ownership of follow-ups.Willingness to understand store and field realities and design solutions that are simple to use.Good to haveExposure to SQL, Python, Apps Script, APIs or tools such as n8n, Make, AppSheet or Power BI.Experience building a dashboard, automation, internal tool or AI-assisted workflow.Interest in retail operations, agriculture, supply chains or rural business.You do not need to know every tool listed.
