As an international organization, we operate across multiple continents, delivering high-impact solutions to a diverse global market.GLOBAL PMO MANAGERWe are seeking a strategic, highly analytical, and dynamic PMO Leader to oversee our global project portfolio and drive financial and operational success.The PMO Manager at American Vanguard will organize and track the operational KPIs working closely with Finance to deliver monthly updates to the Executive Management Team and flag any discrepancies that might interfere with meeting the quarterly and annual goals business.As the PMO Manager, you will serve as the strategic anchor for the corporate initiatives, bridging the gap between high-level business strategy and rigorous execution. This role requires strong financial acumen, with direct responsibility for tracking P&L impacts, capital allocation, and project profitability. This position will work closely with cross-functional, international teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a master of project management frameworks, a data-driven problem solver, and a proactive communicator who can seamlessly navigate a fast-paced public company environment.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Stewardship and P&L Oversight: Monitor and manage KPIs including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and cost-benefit analyses across multiple business units and International enterprises and report on monthly & quarterly progress to ensure all PMO initiatives align with corporate KPI targets and maximize ROI.Portfolio Governance: Define, implement, and maintain project management standards, governance frameworks, and performance metrics across the global organization.Data-Driven Analysis: Analyze complex data, tracking KPIs, variance, and milestones to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.International Project Management: Lead and synchronize large-scale, cross-border initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration across global time zones and cultural landscapes.Tool Optimization: Champion the use of Jira and other enterprise project management tools to optimize workflows, tracking, and transparent reporting.Risk Management: Proactively identify and report project bottlenecks, financial overruns, operational risks, and work with cross functional business units to implement swift mitigation strategies.QualificationsEDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: PMP (Project Management Professional); Six SigmaEXPERIENCE: 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven track record leading a PMO within a publicly traded company.Required SkillsFinancial Expertise: Deep understanding of corporate finance, financial modeling, budgeting, and P&L management.
