This role is responsible for driving delivery excellence, improving project execution standards, and leading the team members responsible for coordinating and managing client projects.This position is ideal for a senior project delivery professional who has experience managing IT infrastructure projects, building repeatable processes, leading project teams, and creating visibility across a portfolio of active engagements.LocationRemote – GlobalThis is a remote position. Candidates must be able to maintain regular overlap with U.S. Pacific Time to support internal meetings, client coordination, project reviews, and leadership communication.Position OverviewThe PMO Lead – IT Project Delivery is responsible for leading GigaKOM’s project management function and ensuring that client projects are delivered with consistency, accountability, and quality.This role oversees the project delivery lifecycle across multiple engagements, including project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, documentation, reporting, and client communication.Working closely with Executive Leadership, Sales, Engineering, Field Services, Operations, and Finance, the PMO Lead will help establish and enforce project delivery standards that support successful outcomes for clients and internal teams.The ideal candidate has strong experience in IT project management, portfolio oversight, team leadership, process development, and and Project CoordinatorsEstablish project delivery standards, templates, workflows, and governance processesDevelop repeatable PMO practices that improve consistency, accountability, and delivery qualitySupport onboarding and training for project management team membersCreate clear expectations for project ownership, communication, documentation, and closeoutProject Portfolio OversightMaintain visibility across active projects, project health, risks, timelines, budgets, and resource needsReview project schedules, milestones, status updates, risk logs, and closeout documentationIdentify project risks early and coordinate corrective action with internal teamsServe as an escalation point for delivery issues, client concerns, and cross-functional conflictsProvide leadership with clear portfolio reporting, project status, and delivery performance metricsProject Delivery GovernanceDefine and enforce project lifecycle standards from kickoff through closeoutImprove project planning, scheduling, communication, and documentation practicesEnsure projects are tracking to scope, schedule, budget, and client expectationsStandardize project review cadences, internal handoffs, and reporting requirementsDevelop and maintain a PMO playbook that can scale with the organizationClient & Stakeholder CommunicationSupport executive-level client communication on strategic or complex projectsEnsure clients receive consistent updates and clear communication throughout project deliveryPartner with Project Managers to resolve client concerns and maintain customer satisfactionRepresent the PMO in internal and external project reviews when neededHelp ensure project teams maintain a professional, customer-focused approachCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales to review project scope, RFP/RFQ requirements, and delivery feasibilityWork with Engineering and Field Services to coordinate resources, technical requirements, and project executionCollaborate with Finance and Operations on project budgets, billing readiness, and project profitabilityImprove handoffs between Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Field Services, and AccountingIdentify process gaps and drive improvements across departmentsProcess Improvement & ReportingAssess current project delivery processes and recommend improvementsImplement structured reporting for project health, resource allocation, risk exposure, and delivery KPIsTrack performance metrics related to project completion, budget adherence, client satisfaction, and team productivityImprove use of project management tools and internal systemsDrive a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and operational excellenceQualificationsRequired8+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, technology services, or technical delivery environments3+ years of experience leading project teams, managing other PMs, or overseeing project delivery operationsStrong understanding of IT infrastructure projects, including networking, wireless, security, structured cabling, and systems deploymentsExperience managing multiple concurrent projects across different clients, teams, and timelinesStrong ability to create and enforce project management processes, standards, and documentationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with executives, clients, engineers, project managers, and field teamsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environment with regular Pacific Time availabilityPreferredPMP certification strongly preferredExperience supporting SLED clients, including K–12, higher education, state, and local governmentExperience with E-Rate or public sector
