Program Manager

North Point Technology is hiring a Program Manager. This role leads delivery of the largest, highest-risk, and most complex strategic enterprise programs for a global automotive and industrial manufacturing client, with a strong focus on long-term organizational improvement.Responsibilities:Manage multiple projects within a program by planning, directing, facilitating, and coordinating all related activities and resourcesServe as mentor, advisor, and decision-maker to project managers across the programIdentify, manage, and coordinate IT and business resources to build a high-performing project teamPrepare project plans, task plans, effort estimates, schedules, and task dependenciesBuild and maintain customer relationships that support business goals and objectivesFacilitate and document charters, requirements, and program documentation through final approvalFacilitate the testing approach and manage integration and UAT testingResolve complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factorsManage program issues to closure with creative resolution documented on an issues logOversee development of proposals and RFPs, and manage vendor and procurement relationships for the programDevelop and manage effective change management plansFacilitate status meetings and report program status in a way that fosters communicationTrack and forecast program financials for accurate accountingMaintain lessons-learned documentation for use on future programsContribute to development of PMO processes, procedures, and project management standardsRequired Skills/Experience:5-9 years in project/program management or related professional experienceExperience managing projects of at least $2M in sizePrior project/program management and leadership roles of increasing responsibility in a comparably sized organizationBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related fieldFluent English (reading, writing, and speaking)Preferred Skills/Experience:Master's degree in a relevant disciplinePMP or equivalent certificationPgMP certification or trainingExperience with project management tools such as Clarity, Open Workbench, or MS ProjectSecond language relevant to assigned country or regionQualifications:Demonstrated on-time, on-budget delivery of multiple large-scale implementation programsExperience leading cross-functional teams within a formal PM methodologyFull software development lifecycle experience across multiple end-to-end programsExperience in a global manufacturing environmentStrong program financial management and organizational change management experienceAbility to advise executive teams and communicate clearly across all levelsNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country’s most crucial missions!
