Program Manager

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Project Lead / Program Manager to drive complex multidisciplinary projects within a high-tech environment. In this role, you will be responsible for leading project teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring successful delivery of technical solutions from concept through implementation.The ideal candidate combines strong project and programme management skills with a technical background in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Fluency in Dutch is mandatory due to close collaboration with Dutch-speaking customers and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate complex technical projects and programmes from initiation to delivery.Define project scope, planning, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.Manage cross-functional teams consisting of software, mechatronics, systems, and engineering specialists.Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation when required.Act as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.Facilitate decision-making processes and ensure alignment between business and technical objectives.Report project status, performance indicators, and financial progress to management.Drive continuous improvement in project execution, processes, and team collaboration.Ensure project deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.Your profileBachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in project or programme management within a technical or engineering environment.Strong background in software development and/or mechatronic systems.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple stakeholders.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.About ALTENALTEN is a global leader in engineering and technology consulting, supporting top-tier clients in their innovation and R&D strategies.
