Apply & track with Apply EdgeOur client, a community-based youth services organization in the Bronx, is seeking a Program Manager (MSW) to help launch and lead an innovative two-year initiative serving youth and young adults ages 13–25. This role will provide day-to-day program leadership, staff supervision, case management oversight, and trauma-informed support while helping ensure high-quality services for participants and their families.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social work professional who enjoys building programs, supporting staff, and working directly with youth facing complex challenges. The Program Manager will play a key role in developing program operations, collaborating with justice-system and community partners, and contributing to a two-year implementation and outcomes evaluation in partnership with a leading university.Compensation: $74,000Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day program implementation, including staff supervision, scheduling, coverage, and quality assurance.Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and professional development of program staff.Oversee participant intake, assessment, individualized service planning, case management, engagement, home visits, referrals, retention, and transitions.Provide individualized clinical and trauma-informed support to participants with higher levels of need.Provide or support CBT-informed interventions, substance use services, crisis intervention, restorative practices, Healing Circles, and other trauma-responsive interventions within the scope of the program.Provide consultation and guidance to staff regarding complex cases, family concerns, trauma, crisis response, safety, and participant engagement.Facilitate and co-facilitate groups and ensure staff are actively engaged in program activities.Conduct case conferences and review participant progress, documentation, referrals, attendance, and service plans.Coordinate with justice-system partners regarding referrals, participation, attendance, and program progress.Collaborate with university researchers on data collection and the program’s two-year implementation and outcomes evaluation.Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, community organizations, employers, schools, and service providers.Monitor program fidelity, documentation, safety practices, outcomes, and contractual requirements.QualificationsMaster of Social Work (MSW) required; LMSW or LCSW preferred.Experience supervising staff and providing case management and/or clinical guidance.Experience working with justice-involved, violence-impacted, gang-involved, or otherwise high-risk youth strongly preferred.Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, restorative practices, and/or violence prevention.Strong clinical judgment with the ability to support staff through complex participant and family situations.Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to build trusting relationships with youth, families, staff, and community partners.Comfortable providing services in community and home-based settings.Flexibility to participate in occasional evening and weekend programming as needed.Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.Compensation & ScheduleFull-time position based in the Bronx, NY.Some flexibility required for community-based services and occasional evening/weekend activities.Opportunity to help launch and shape a new two-year initiative serving Bronx youth and young adults.Collaborative with community partners and university researchers on program implementation and evaluation.
