Apply & track with Apply EdgeI'm looking for a Program Quality Leader to lead overall quality performance for automotive programmes, acting as the main quality interface between customers, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams while ensuring successful product launches and customer satisfaction.The successful candidate will be responsible for owning programme qualitytargets and KPIs, driving APQP and launch quality activities, managing customerquality requirements, coordinating problem-solving initiatives, and ensuringcompliance with automotive quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.Main functions:
- Lead overall quality performance for JLR interior plastic componentprogrammes.
- Own programme quality targets and KPIs, ensuring delivery againstcustomer requirements.
- Drive APQP and launch quality activities from early development throughSOP and series production.
- Manage customer quality requirements, translating JLR specifications,standards and expectations into clear.
- Lead problem-solving and containment activities for quality issuesduring development, launch and series production.
- Coordinate cross-functional resolution of critical issues, ensuring rootcauses are identified, corrective actions are implemented andeffectiveness is verified before closure.
- Oversee product and process quality readiness.
- Support and lead PPAP submissions to JLR, ensuring requirements arefully compliant.
- Monitor manufacturing and supplier quality risks, proactively identifyingpotential issues affecting timing, quality or launch and implementingmitigation and escalation plans.
- Represent in JLR programme meetings, providing clearstatus reporting, risk escalation and recovery plans.Preferred Requierements:
- Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technicaldegree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar quality roles within automotive-related companies.
- Strong knowledge of PPAP Management, PSW closure, Control Plans,FMEA, SPC, R&R, and Plant Launch activities.
- Experience reporting to customers and managing customer-facing qualityactivities.
- Knowledge of automotive interior plastic components and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Experience working with Ford and/or JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) standardsand expectations is highly desirable.
- High level of English (advanced or bilingual).
- Strong teamwork, customer orientation, and proactive mindset.
- Availability to work in the UK (Fradley, Birmingham).Compensation and Benefits:
