Awesome Life Academy values compassion, professionalism, and continuous improvement in the services offered to clients.Role Description The Program Staff role is an in-person position based in the Naperville, Oswego and Aurora area. In this role, the Program Staff member supports day-to-day program activities for individuals with special needs, including implementing program plans, assisting with skill-building exercises, and monitoring client progress. Responsibilities include preparing materials, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and providing direct assistance and encouragement to clients during scheduled activities. The Program Staff member collaborates with colleagues to coordinate schedules, communicate updates, and ensure consistent, high-quality services. Additional duties may involve basic documentation, participation in team meetings, and engaging with families or caregivers as needed.Qualifications Ability to manage and support program activities, demonstrating strong Program Management and Training skills.Strong Analytical Skills to observe, document, and report client progress and program outcomes.Effective Communication skills to interact with clients, families, and team members in a clear, respectful manner.Customer Service skills to provide responsive, compassionate support to clients and caregivers.Experience working with individuals with special needs or in a human services, education, or healthcare setting is preferred.Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all interactions.Reliable attendance, ability to work scheduled hours in person in the Naperville, Oswego or Aurora communities and willingness to participate in required training.High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in social services, special education, or related fields is a plus.
