Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Overview: The Senior Project Lead – Technical will provide subject matter expertise in public health and lead the design, implementation, and oversight of health initiatives under the Centre. This role is pivotal in ensuring the technical integrity of projects, fostering evidence based programming, and advancing the Centre's public health advocacy and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of public health projects, ensuring they are technically sound and aligned with national and global health priorities.
- Provide public health expertise and strategic inputs across thematic areas, including maternal and child health, health systems strengthening, and digital health.
- Facilitate the generation and dissemination of knowledge products such as research briefs, policy notes, and case studies to inform stakeholders and influence discourse.
- Lead workplace wellness initiatives by working closely with industry and HR leaders to conceptualize and design comprehensive workplace wellness strategies, policies, and programmes. Facilitate capacity building/workshops and awareness campaigns to build organizational capacity and promote employee well-being.
- Build and leverage a strong network of public health institutions, experts, and Corporate and Industry partners to strengthen the Centre’s reach and relevance.
- Represent the Centre in technical forums, working groups, and policy dialogues to advocate for evidence-based public health solutions.
- Collaborate with other leads to align technical efforts with operational and strategic goals of the Centre.
- Advocate and position workplace wellness as a strategic boardroom priority, fostering a culture of health, productivity, and holistic well-being across organizations.Qualifications
- An MBBS/BDS/BAMS or master’s degree is required in Public Health management/ Economics/Sociology/MBA/Hospital Management. Experience in delivering end to end public health capstone projects will be preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of workforce health dynamics, employee engagement strategies, and corporate wellness frameworks 2
- Demonstrated experience of leading large scale complex development projects in public health with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity/understanding of Indian corporate workplaces, workplace wellness initiatives, their functions and operations across different departments etc governance structures, public administration & government functioning and business environment is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel is required.
- Fluent written and spoken English is necessary. Excellent communication skills - formal writing ability, speaking, and client relations are required.
