We love what we do, and it shows.Infinity currently develops and sells approximately 120 residential units and between 70 and 100 single family lots each year with the goal of increasing this production year over year.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Accountant role based in our Langley office. As a Project Accountant, you will be reporting to the Director of Finance. Your responsibilities will include the following:Assembling progress draws and performing variance analysisReconciling quarterly construction reports to project records and recording budget and cost adjustments as neededPreparing project cash flow forecastsAdvising on project cost codingSupporting the Development, Construction, and Sales & Marketing departments with ad hoc reportingMonitoring project performance metrics, including IRRPreparing quarterly budget updates and other project reporting for investorsMonitoring compliance with loan conditions and financial covenantsMonitoring Letters of Credit and deposits, and reconciling quarterlyManaging the accounting for a portfolio of development projectsAssisting with full-cycle accounting for project entities as neededMonitoring equity interest schedulesPerforming job cost to GL reconciliations and preparing associated journal entriesManaging joint venture (JV) accountingSupporting year-end close for project entitiesIdentifying and implementing process optimization opportunitiesQualificationsCompletion of an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA designation, or enrolled in the CPA program, considered an asset2-5 years of experience in development project or construction accountingA track record of identifying operational reporting efficiencies and process enhancementsSolution-oriented with a growth mindsetEasygoing, approachable, and coachableAnalytical and detail-orientedStrong commercial awarenessSound written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate to advanced proficiency in MS ExcelExperience with financial modelling considered an assetCompensationThe annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000 and compensation will be determined based on relevant experience.If you're excited by the opportunity to grow your career and work on a great team in a dynamic culture, we'd love to hear from you.
