Project Accountant

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial forecasts for external stakeholders.Collaborate with project management, field teams, and accounting to gather and update project cost information.Support monthly Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) billing processes.Monitor and maintain project budgets, contract values, and cost performance.Forecast total project costs and estimate cost at completion.Prepare and distribute monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports for project leadership.Track and analyze project costs to identify trends and potential risks.Monitor resource curves and productivity metrics to support field operations and project management.Assist with financial reporting and provide insights to help drive project success.Qualifications3–5 years of experience in project management, project controls, or project accounting.Knowledge of construction accounting principles and AIA billing procedures.Experience with project forecasting and cost-at-completion reporting.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience working on Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) construction projects.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
