This focus allows ERAMCO to provide reliable, value-driven construction solutions to its clients and partners.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Accountant role based in Saudi Arabia. The Project Accountant will oversee project-level financial activities, including tracking costs, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenditures against approved forecasts. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and validating project invoices, coordinating with project managers and site teams to ensure accurate cost allocation, and maintaining up-to-date financial records for each project. The role involves preparing periodic financial reports, supporting cash flow planning, and assisting with variance analysis to highlight cost deviations and recommend corrective actions. The Project Accountant will also collaborate with finance, procurement, and technical teams to support compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and local regulations.Qualifications Strong project accounting and cost control skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Proficiency in financial reporting and use of accounting or ERP systems for construction or contracting environments.Solid understanding of invoicing, billing, and revenue recognition processes for project-based work.Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to validate costs and financial data.Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.Experience in the construction or contracting industry, particularly in the Middle East, is highly beneficial.Proficiency in MS Excel and other standard office applications; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an added benefit.
