About the CompanyWe are an established commercial and industrial general contractor with 20+ years delivering distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, food production plants, and healthcare environments throughout the Midwest.About the RoleWe are growing and looking for a Project Accountant to join our team.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process AIA G702/G703 owner billings and monthly pay applicationsManage subcontractor pay apps, lien waivers, and sworn statementsTrack job costs, budgets, and variances across multiple active projectsProcess subcontractor and vendor invoices and manage accounts payableAssist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliationsMonitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding paymentsMaintain project financial records, change orders, and contractsWork closely with Project Managers on cost reporting and cash flowQualifications3+ years of construction accounting experience inside a GC or subcontractorRequired SkillsHands-on experience with AIA billing, lien waivers, and job costingFamiliarity with construction accounting software (Sage, ComputerEase, Viewpoint, or similar)Strong Excel skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStable work history and a team-first attitudePreferred SkillsNone specifiedPay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary commensurate with experiencePerformance-based annual bonus401(k) with employer matchMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation and holidaysA stable, collaborative team where your work gets noticedEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
