Project Accountant

Position: Project AccountantLocation: St. Charles, IL (On-site)Employment Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities:Manage financials for multiple commercial construction projects.Process subcontractor invoices, vendor payments, and purchase orders.Prepare owner billings, AIA pay applications, lien waivers, and related documentation.Track job costs, budgets, retainage, committed costs, and change orders.Assist Project Managers with cost forecasting and monthly financial reporting.Support month-end and year-end close while maintaining accurate project documentation.Requirements:2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.Experience with job costing, AIA billing, retainage, and change orders.Strong Excel skills and familiarity with construction accounting software.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.If this opportunity sounds like a good fit, I'd be happy to schedule a quick call to discuss the role in more detail.
