Project Control Manager

Role Description This part-time Project Control Manager role is a hybrid position based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Project Control Manager oversees project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, monitoring progress against milestones, preparing cost and schedule reports, and identifying variances and risks. The role collaborates closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, optimize resource utilization, and maintain compliance with company standards and local regulations. The Project Control Manager also contributes to continuous improvement by refining control processes, documentation, and reporting tools.Qualifications Ability to provide strong project leadership and support project managers in achieving defined objectives.Proficiency in project planning and project control, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk monitoring.Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on governance and performance tracking.Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present clear, actionable reports.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in hybrid, multicultural teams.Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.Relevant academic background in engineering, business, or a related field; professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are beneficial.Familiarity with agricultural or agribusiness projects is an advantage, along with knowledge of local regulations in the United Arab Emirates.
