Project Controller

Role Description The Project Controller role at Delta Engenharia is a part-time remote position responsible for supporting the financial and administrative control of engineering projects. Day-to-day activities include monitoring project budgets, tracking costs and revenues, and preparing regular financial and progress reports for project managers and stakeholders. The Project Controller helps maintain project schedules, updates forecasts, and identifies variances between planned and actual performance. The role involves reviewing contracts and purchase orders, verifying invoices, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements. The Project Controller also collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve project controls, maintain accurate documentation, and support risk and resource management.QualificationsStrong skills in project financial control, including budgeting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.Ability to work with project scheduling and planning tools, and interpret timelines and resource plans.Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial reporting software; comfort with extracting and analyzing data.Attention to detail in documentation, contract review, invoice verification, and compliance checks.Clear written and verbal communication skills to summarize project status and collaborate with stakeholders.Capacity to work independently in a remote, part-time setting, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.Relevant experience in project controls, finance, engineering, or construction environments is beneficial.Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field are preferred.
