Role Description The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customer projects from order receipt through fabrication and delivery. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the fabrication team, ensuring projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with customer requirements. The Project Coordinator also prepares estimates, reviews engineering drawings, develops project schedules, and creates fabrication drawings to support production.Responsibilities:Communicate with customer for any potential change in rebar order and coordination with the shop.Receive and review customer purchase orders and coordinate project activities from initiation to completion.Prepare rebar and GFRP material take-offs, estimates, and quotations for reinforced concrete projects.Review architectural and structural drawings to obtain information required for estimating, design, and production.Prepare rebar shape drawings and product section drawings for customers and the fabrication department using AutoCAD.Familiar with rebar detailing and bar listServe as the primary point of contact for customers, providing project updates and responding to inquiries.Develop and maintain project schedules, establish timelines, and coordinate delivery dates with customers and the fabrication team.Coordinate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure project requirements are met.Monitor project progress and communicate schedule changes or issues to all stakeholders.Maintain accurate project documentation and records.Ensure projects meet quality standards, customer specifications, and company procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excell and PowerPoint is a must. QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Structural engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or a related field is preferred.Experience in project coordination, estimating, detailing, or the construction industry is considered an asset.Knowledge of reinforced concrete construction and rebar/GFRP products is preferred.P.Eng and Master degrees are welcome to apply Experience with aSa Rebar Software will be a huge plusAbility to work on-site in Woodbridge, ON, with reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace.Required Skills and Competencies:Ability to read and interpret Canadian and American architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for calculations, analysis, and data management.Working knowledge of AutoCAD for creating and modifying technical drawings.Experience using Bluebeam Revu for quantity take-offs and measurements.Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Willingness and ability to learn new software and industry-standard applications as required.Additional Information:Compensation: competitive wage with the opportunity for performance and tenure-based increases.Benefits: Medical, vision, and dental insurance, Goodlife Fitness & Co-Operators insurance discounts after successful completion of probation period. MSTRebar Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
