Apply & track with Apply EdgeProject Coordinator / Accountant | Multifamily ConstructionWe're seeking an experienced Project Coordinator / Accountant to support the delivery and financial administration of multifamily construction projects up to $50M. This is a hybrid project coordination and accounting role, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Accounting across ground-up and renovation projects from startup through closeout.The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of construction experience, with multifamily experience strongly preferred. Experience with CMiC is a major plus.What You'll Be DoingSupport Project Managers and Superintendents across multiple active multifamily projectsHandle project accounting functions including AP/AR support, invoice processing, monthly draws/pay applications, lien waivers, cost tracking, and budget documentationTrack project costs, commitments, change orders, and financial documentation to ensure accurate reportingPrepare and process subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor paymentsReview and coordinate vendor and subcontractor invoices, approvals, and supporting documentationAssist with monthly billing and project financial reconciliation alongside Project Management and AccountingMaintain subcontractor COIs, compliance documentation, and vendor recordsMaintain project files, document logs, plan revisions, warranties, and tracking toolsCoordinate project startup and closeout, including O&M manuals, as-builts, punch lists, and warranty documentationAssist with certified payroll, prevailing wage, and MWBE/DBE compliance when applicableServe as a key link between Project Management, Accounting, field teams, subcontractors, and vendorsQualifications5+ years of construction project coordination, project accounting, contract administration, or similar experience preferredMultifamily construction experience is a major plusStrong understanding of construction accounting processes, including pay applications, invoices, draws, lien waivers, change orders, commitments, and cost trackingCMiC experience is a major plusExperience with Sage, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction softwareStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsAbility to manage financial and project documentation across multiple active projectsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not requiredWhat’s OfferedStrong pipeline of multifamily construction projectsExposure to both ground-up and renovation workOpportunity to work directly with Project Management, field leadership, and AccountingBroad exposure to both the operational and financial sides of constructionLong-term career growth within a growing construction teamInvolvement throughout the full project lifecycle from startup through financial closeout
