WCI is working to promote the use of Grassroots Comics as a medium of self-expression and a teaching and learning tool for educators and students alike. Started in the 1990s, WCI has conducted more than 1500 comics workshops across the globe and trained over 1,50,000 common people. The idea was conceptualized almost 20 years ago in India; now, Grassroots Comics is a global peoples' movement that provides an alternative communication tool for the community to express their part of the story. Master's degree in the relevant field2. 3-5 years of relevant experience3. Past experience in managing programs.4. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences5. Experience with educational and community development programs6.
