Project CoordinatorA project coordination role within the construction and building materials industry, supporting site project management teams with project schedules, documentation, stakeholder communication, cost control, and compliance.The RoleThe Project Coordinator will support the delivery of ongoing construction projects by coordinating schedules, documentation, meetings, project controls, and stakeholder communication. The role is responsible for ensuring projects remain organised, compliant, and on track while supporting project managers and other stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and monitor project plans, schedules, and documentation.Manage project document control, including RFIs and transmittals.Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with established frameworks.Organise, attend, and facilitate stakeholder meetings where required.Prepare meeting materials, record minutes, and follow up on actions and decisions.Provide administrative and operational support across project activities.Develop project strategies and help align stakeholder priorities toward effective solutions.Identify project risks and issues and assist with developing appropriate solutions.Coordinate correspondence with owners, subcontractors, third-party testing agencies, and other project stakeholders.Support invoicing and payment-progress processes.Monitor subcontractor compliance and work with internal teams to resolve restrictions or issues.Support project cost control, revenue capture, design compliance, and safety requirements.Promote adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.RequirementsDegree in Engineering, a technical engineering diploma, or Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering.3+ years of project coordination experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other spreadsheet/documentation tools.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and organisational abilities.Knowledge of the construction industry.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to managers, clients, customers, and other stakeholders.Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions.Strong numerical and analytical ability, including working with percentages, proportions, measurements, and project calculations.IndustryConstruction / Building Materials / InfrastructureCore FocusProject Coordination | Construction Projects | Scheduling | Document Control | Stakeholder Management | Risk Management | Cost Control | Compliance | Project Administration
