Dr. Fader served as team psychologist for the New York Mets for nine seasons and was formerly Director of Mental Performance for the New York Giants.Our multidisciplinary team includes psychologists, licensed mental health counselors, mental-performance coaches and business professionals who have supported high-performing athletes, teams, executives, and organizational leaders. We combine scientific rigor with practical tools that help people perform effectively when the stakes are high.Strata works closely with its affiliated organization, Union Square Practice (USP), a multidisciplinary mental-health practice providing evidence-based psychological and psychiatric care. This role specifically will have some crossover into USP.About the RoleWe are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Project Coordinator to work directly with Strata’s founder, Dr. Jonathan Fader.This is a broad, hands-on coordination role combining project oversight, executive and personal support, business administration, client coordination, and occasional social media execution. You will help translate priorities into action, keep important initiatives moving, coordinate Dr. Fader’s complex schedule, and create the structure that allows a growing business to operate effectively.You will also gain exposure to the business and operational side of performance psychology. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, mental health counselors, performance coaches, and consultants with experience supporting professional athletes, major sports organizations, executives, and business leaders.For someone with a background in psychology, mental health counseling, coaching, or human performance, this is a distinctive opportunity to observe how evidence-based performance principles are translated into programs, client experiences, business initiatives, and thought leadership.One day, you may be coordinating a new Strata initiative and managing next steps across multiple stakeholders. The next, you may be following up on an invoice, or capturing content at an event.We are a small, ambitious team, so priorities can evolve quickly and responsibilities will not always fit neatly into a box. You will thrive here if you enjoy bringing order to ambiguity, anticipate what is needed, communicate clearly, and are willing to lean in wherever the work matters most. This is a non-clinical position and does not involve providing therapy or psychological services. What You’ll OwnExecutive and Personal Support (50%)Manage and optimize Dr. Fader’s calendar across business, clinical, and personal commitments.Identify scheduling conflicts, recommend solutions, and ensure the calendar reflects his most important priorities.Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, transportation, accommodations, and related logistics.Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and other information needed for meetings.Track decisions, action items, and follow-ups to ensure important commitments move forward.Help prioritize communications, meeting requests, and demands on the founder’s time.Anticipate needs and address potential issues before they become problems.Project Coordination (30%)Coordinate special projects, internal initiatives, program development, and selected business-development efforts from kickoff through completion.Create clear project plans with owners, milestones, deadlines, and next actions.Coordinate with psychologists, coaches, consultants, business leaders, and other internal and external stakeholders.Track priorities and proactively follow up with stakeholders to maintain momentum.Conduct focused research and translate findings into concise summaries and recommendations.Help improve systems, workflows, and operating practices as Strata grows.Identify inefficiencies or recurring problems and propose practical solutions.Bring structure to projects that may begin with limited information or an evolving scope.Finance and Administration (10%)Support day-to-day administrative and operational needs, with a primary focus on Strata Performance.Prepare invoices, track payment status, and follow up professionally when needed.Maintain accurate, well-organized records and administrative systems.Identify missing information, approaching deadlines, or other issues requiring attention.Social Media and Content Support (10%)Film high-quality short-form video content featuring Dr. Fader and other members of the Strata team.Support the content creation process by coordinating filming needs and helping move content from idea to execution.Assist with social media execution across relevant platforms.Capture timely, high-quality content at events, shoots, and media appearances.Maintain professionalism and sound judgment when representing Dr. Fader and Strata publicly.What You’ll BringExceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy or follow-through.Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent judgment, and close attention to detail.Experience supporting a senior executive, founder, entrepreneur, clinician, or other high-level professional.Strong project-coordination skills, including the ability to establish owners, milestones, deadlines, and next steps.A demonstrated ability to handle sensitive personal, clinical, financial, and business information with discretion.The ability to anticipate needs, identify potential problems, and take thoughtful action without waiting for detailed instructions.Comfort working in a small, fast-moving organization where priorities may change and team members contribute beyond a narrow job description.High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, clinicians, coaches, business leaders, and other stakeholders.Comfort moving between detailed administrative work and broader business priorities.A practical understanding of invoicing, payment tracking, and basic financial processes.Comfort learning and maintaining digital tools, tracking systems, and business workflows.A bachelor’s degree.Based in New York City with the flexibility to attend meetings, events, filming sessions, and media appearances in person.Preferred BackgroundWe are particularly interested in candidates who bring one or more of the following:Currently pursuing an eligible graduate degree or licensure pathway in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, coaching, sport psychology, or a related field.Experience working or interning in a behavioral-health, psychology, coaching, wellness, or human-performance environment.An LMHC, MHC-LP, or comparable mental-health background.A strong interest in performance psychology, mental skills, executive coaching, or the application of behavioral science in high-performance settings.Experience working in a startup, founder-led business, professional-services firm, or healthcare organization.Experience coordinating business-development, program-development, or client-service initiatives.Familiarity with privacy-sensitive client or healthcare information.A clinical credential is not required.
