Job SummaryThe Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure they are delivered efficiently, on time, within budget, and in accordance with the required standards. The role involves coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, monitoring progress, and facilitating communication between project teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.Key Responsibilities & DutiesCoordinate day-to-day project activities and ensure tasks are completed according to the approved project plan.Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and project execution.Monitor project progress, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.Coordinate communication and information flow between project teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.Prepare, maintain, and organize project documentation, reports, schedules, meeting minutes, and records.Organize and participate in project meetings and follow up on assigned actions and deliverables.Track project risks, issues, changes, and dependencies and escalate concerns to the Project Manager when required.Assist in monitoring project costs, procurement activities, resources, and contractual requirements.Prepare regular project progress reports and provide accurate updates to the Project Manager and management.Support the implementation of project procedures, policies, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to ensure smooth project execution.Assist in identifying potential delays, resource requirements, and operational challenges and support the development of appropriate solutions.Maintain accurate project trackers and ensure all project information is updated and readily available.Support project close-out activities, including final documentation, reporting, and lessons learned.Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or project management.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Experience with project management software and tools is an advantage.Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.Knowledge of Kurdish is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project records.Willingness to travel or work on-site when required.
