Project Coordinator - Luxury Furniture

Job Purpose The Project Coordinator – Technical plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of furniture and interior projects by managing all technical aspects throughout the project lifecycle. This role bridges design, production, and project delivery teams to guarantee technical precision, compliance with client requirements, and high-quality outputs. The coordinator proactively identifies and resolves technical challenges, optimizes workflows, and ensures that project milestones are met efficiently. Main Responsibilities Technical Project Coordination Review and validate all technical drawings, material specifications, and design documentation to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements. Collaborate closely with design and production teams to resolve technical challenges, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of project milestones. Project Lifecycle Support Maintain detailed technical documentation, track progress against project timelines, and ensure that all technical deliverables are properly recorded and monitored. Proactively identify potential technical risks or bottlenecks, suggesting solutions to prevent delays, cost overruns, or quality issues. Quality Assurance & Process Improvement Conduct technical inspections on prototypes, production samples, and installations to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards. Recommend improvements to technical workflows, processes, and best practices to enhance project efficiency, accuracy, and quality. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication Act as the primary technical liaison between design, production, and logistics teams, ensuring all parties are aligned on project requirements and changes. Communicate technical updates, clarifications, and recommendations effectively to internal teams, clients, and suppliers to support informed decision-making. Requirements Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages is considered an advantage. Educational Qualification: Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field are an advantage; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Advanced certifications in project management or technical design (e.g., MS projects, AutoCAD, or Revit) are a plus.  Experience: 2–4 years of experience in technical coordination within furniture, interior, or manufacturing projects. Hands-on experience with CAD software, technical drawings, and material specifications. Exposure to project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Primavera) and understanding of production workflows. Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and timely project delivery.
