Project Coordinator– Mental Health & WellbeingExperience: 4–5 yearsLocation: Pune, MaharashtraAbout the RoleThe Project Coordinator – Mental Health & Wellbeing will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of mental health and wellbeing initiatives across colleges and communities. The role will involve conducting mental health sessions, engaging with educational institutions, coordinating with mental health professionals and project teams, and ensuring timely achievement of project outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage the implementation of mental health and wellbeing programs as per project objectives and timelinesConduct mental health awareness, wellbeing, life skills, and related sessions for students and other identified groupsDevelop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate sessions and activities based on the needs of the target groupIdentify and reach out to colleges and educational institutions for project implementationPresent and pitch mental health and wellbeing programs to colleges and coordinate their participationSchedule and coordinate mental health sessions, workshops, awareness programs, and other activities with institutionsCoordinate with counsellors, psychologists, trainers, college authorities, and other stakeholders for smooth program deliverySupervise and support project team members and ensure effective coordination of field activitiesConduct regular field visits and monitor the quality and effectiveness of sessions and activitiesTrack project targets, participation, outcomes, and other key indicators through MIS and regular reportingCollect and maintain session records, attendance, feedback, photographs, case studies, and other project documentationAddress field-level challenges and ensure timely resolution of implementation issuesPrepare project updates, presentations, reports, and donor-related documentationMaintain confidentiality and follow appropriate protocols while handling mental health-related information and interactionsIdentify project risks and escalate concerns to the reporting manager as requiredQualification and ExperienceGraduate or Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Management, Public Health, Education, or a related field4–5 years of experience in project management, mental health, wellbeing, counselling, community programs, or related social sector initiativesExperience in conducting awareness or wellbeing sessions for youth/studentsExperience in working with colleges, educational institutions, or community-based programsExperience in stakeholder coordination and project implementationRequired SkillsStrong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to conduct mental health and wellbeing sessionsGood understanding of mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing, stress management, and related youth-focused topicsStrong communication, coordination, and relationship-building skillsAbility to engage with students and young adults in an interactive and sensitive mannerGood documentation, reporting, and MIS skillsProficiency in MS OfficeFluency in Marathi, Hindi, and EnglishWillingness to travel within Pune and to project locations as required
