Project Design Coordinator (Electrical Background)

ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a Project Design Coordinator with a strong Electrical Engineering background to support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering and design projects. The successful candidate will coordinate design activities, manage stakeholder communications, monitor project progress, and ensure design deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements.Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate design activities across Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Architectural, and Infrastructure disciplines.Monitor design schedules and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.Organize and facilitate design coordination meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.Act as the primary liaison between project managers, design teams, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.Review design submissions to ensure completeness, consistency, and technical quality.Ensure proper integration of electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.Identify design conflicts or clashes and coordinate resolution among stakeholders.Track project actions, approvals, revisions, and design changes.Support project planning, risk management, and design management activities.Prepare design progress reports, meeting minutes, technical presentations, and project updates.Assist with authority submissions, client approvals, and project documentation requirements.Support value engineering initiatives and continuous improvement of project delivery processes.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in engineering design and project coordination.Strong technical background in Electrical Engineering Design.Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary building and infrastructure projects.Experience working with engineering consultancies or international design firms is preferred.Middle East or GCC project experience is highly advantageous.Technical SkillsSound knowledge of power distribution systems, LV and MV systems, lighting systems, ELV systems, grounding, and lightning protection systems.Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM-based project environments.Working knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.Understanding of design management, project execution, and engineering coordination processes.PreferredPMP certification is preferred.Saudi Council of Engineers registration is an advantage.Previous experience on large-scale commercial, mixed-use, transportation, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
