Location: SyriaPosition Summary :We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of the Airport EPC Project.The Project Director will have overall responsibility for project execution, providing executive leadership across engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, commercial, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning and handover.Mandatory Experience Requirement:Proven airport construction / airport EPC experience is mandatory.Demonstrated leadership of major or mega-scale airport projects.Strong experience across airside and landside airport construction.Candidates without direct airport construction experience will not be considered.Experience Requirement:20+ years of overall construction/project management experience.Significant experience as Project Director / Construction Director / Senior Project Manager.Proven delivery of major airport construction/EPC projects.Strong experience with airside works including:RunwaysTaxiwaysApronsAircraft standsAirfield pavementsDrainageAirfield infrastructureExperience with terminal buildings, utilities, MEP and specialist airport systems.Strong EPC / EPIC / Main Contractor experience.Experience managing large multidisciplinary project teams and specialist contractors.Strong Client, Consultant and aviation-authority stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership for airport EPC project execution.Establish and implement the project execution strategy.Lead Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls, Commercial, QA/QC and HSE functions.Manage airside and landside construction delivery.Drive programme, cost, quality and HSE performance.Manage critical procurement and long-lead airport systems.Oversee subcontractor and specialist contractor performance.Manage contractual variations, claims, commercial risks and project changes.Coordinate Client, Consultant, airport authorities and government stakeholders.Manage project risks, interfaces and critical decisions.Lead testing, commissioning, operational readiness and final handover.

Qualifications
