Project Director

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a large-scale International Airport Construction Project. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in managing complex airport construction projects, ensuring compliance with international standards, and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Strategy:Provide strategic direction and leadership for the entire airport construction project.Ensure project milestones, budgets, and timelines are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate delays and cost overruns.Stakeholder & Contract Management:Act as the primary point of contact for clients, government authorities, contractors, and consultants.Manage contracts, negotiations, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Technical & Operational Oversight:Oversee all phases of airport construction, including runway development, terminal buildings, air traffic control towers, and ancillary infrastructure.Ensure adherence to ICAO, FAA, IATA, and other international aviation standards.Review engineering designs, construction methodologies, and procurement strategies.Team & Resource Management:Lead a large team of engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.Optimize resource allocation, manpower planning, and subcontractor performance.Financial & Reporting Accountability:Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting.Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum 10+ years of experience in managing large-scale international #airport construction projectsProven track record in delivering airport projects on time and within budget.Strong knowledge of #aviation regulations, safety standards, and construction best practices.Experience working with #EPC contractors, government agencies, and international clients.PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications (preferred).Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
