Project Director

MOBCO Construction is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of major construction developments in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.The ideal candidate will have 25+ years of experience in civil engineering or architecture, with a proven track record in mega and giga projects, particularly shopping malls, luxury hotels, high-rise towers, and other large-scale, complex developments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall execution of major construction projects from inception to handover.Direct project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site management.Ensure delivery within approved schedules, budgets, quality, and HSE standards.Oversee planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, finishing, commissioning, and close-out.Manage stakeholder relationships, project risks, resources, and project controls.Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance throughout project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; Master’s degree is preferred.Minimum 25 years of proven construction industry experience.Mandatory experience in mega or giga projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia.Strong project delivery experience in malls, luxury hotels, high-rise buildings, or similarly complex developments.Proven experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and fast-track project schedules.Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, project controls, and commercial management.Familiarity with Saudi building regulations and international construction standards.Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
