Project Director - Data Centre ConstructionWest LondonI am supporting a well-funded, global data centre developer and operator in appointing an experienced Project Director for a major development in West London. The successful candidate will take senior responsibility for the delivery of large-scale data centre construction works. This is a key leadership position requiring a proven ability to deliver complex, high-value projects safely, on programme and within budget. This is an opportunity to lead a major hyperscale data centre development for a financially secure and rapidly scaling international organisation.Key responsibilitiesLead the delivery of a major data centre construction project.Take responsibility for programme, budget, scope, safety, quality and overall project performance.Lead and develop a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.Manage the general contractor and wider delivery partners.Coordinate with development, design, engineering, commercial, procurement and operations teams.Act as a senior point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.Identify and manage project risks, delays and commercial issues.RequirementsApproximately 15+ years of relevant project delivery experience.Significant experience leading large and complex construction projects.Demonstrable hyperscale data centre or comparable mission-critical delivery experience.A strong record of delivering projects on programme and within budget.Experience managing general contractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams.Strong customer-facing and senior stakeholder-management skills.
