Project Director

Our client is a fast-growing data center platform building hyperscale and colocation capacity across Asia Pacific. It has a strong pipeline of multi-megawatt campuses, and it is looking for an experienced Project Director to lead delivery of a flagship development from design through to handover.This is a chance to take full ownership of a major project, with the backing of a business that is scaling quickly and investing in its people.The roleOwn end-to-end delivery of a large-scale data center project , including scope, cost, schedule, quality and safety.Lead the owner's-side project team and manage design consultants, EPC or general contractors, and specialist MEP packages.Take accountability for the project budget, cash flow, change control and commercial outcomes, working closely with the commercial and procurement teams.Drive design coordination, procurement strategy for long-lead equipment, and a clear path to commissioning.Act as the senior point of contact for hyperscale customers, investors and internal leadership, and report on progress, risks and mitigations.Build a strong safety culture on site and make sure the project meets local regulatory and permitting requirements.Support the wider business with lessons learned, standards and input to future pipeline projects.About youYou have 15+ years' experience in construction or engineering project delivery, including at least 5 years leading mission-critical projects such as data center, semiconductor etc...You have a track record of delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget, ideally from the client or developer side.You have a strong understanding of MEP systems, power and cooling infrastructure, and the commissioning process.You are commercially astute and comfortable with contract forms and with managing claims, variations and disputes.You are a confident leader who can manage senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams across cultures.You hold a degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
