Project Director

We are looking for a Project Director to lead the construction delivery of a large masterplan project in Abu Dhabi.Qualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualification (University Graduate) in either Project Management, Building Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or similar plus a minimum of 20 years relevant experience in a project management roleExtensive experience in the Villa ConstructionExperience in contracting and PMCRelevant projects of an appropriate scale (large masterplan projects)United Arab Emirates experience RequiredMinimum 5 years' experience in Project Director roleActive membership of a relevant professional institution is an additional considerationKey ResponsibilitiesProduce and implement the Project Execution Plan and direct the Project Management teamProvide a level of service that meets the expectations of Mirage and is regarded as being of a high standard within the Project Management professionIdentify areas for improvement in project delivery plans and implement accordingly.Manage the commercial aspects of the project, including consultant fees, claims, payments, etc.Administer the Construction Contracts and issue all correspondence as the authorised signatoryLead a project and drive the achievement of quality, programme and budget targetsLead Value Engineering workshopsLead regular progress updates in conjunction with the Planning ManagerLead all Delay Claim workshops and the assessment processConduct meetings, produce minutes and drive outcomesLead, manage and motivate multi-disciplined teams and colleaguesLead the Procurement processCompile monthly and other reports and make recommendationsOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
