Project Engineer - Aluminum/Facade

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage day-to-day façade project engineering activities.Review architectural, structural, shop, fabrication, and installation drawings.Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.Monitor façade installation progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.Coordinate with Design, BIM, Estimation, Procurement, Production, and Site teams.Prepare and review technical submittals, material approvals, RFIs, method statements, and inspection requests.Monitor material requirements, fabrication schedules, deliveries, and site installation.Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and installation issues.Ensure façade works meet required quality, safety, and project standards.Track project progress and provide regular technical and progress reports.Assist with project planning, variations, measurements, and quantity verification.Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, and final handover activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.5–8 years of relevant experience in façade, aluminium, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, or building envelope projects.UAE/GCC façade experience is mandatory.Strong knowledge of aluminium façade systems, curtain walls, glazing, cladding, windows, and doors.Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.Good understanding of façade drawings, technical specifications, and installation methodologies.Strong coordination, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.Ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site team
