Execution Department and reports directly to the Project Manager, working closely with Senior Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and commercial and planning teams to ensure seamless project execution.Your RoleAs a Project Engineer , you will manage engineering deliverables for the assigned scope, ensuring statutory approvals, procurement, and technical documentation align with project specifications and programme requirements.You will support project delivery by ensuring installations meet design intent, quality standards, and commissioning requirements.Focus AreasDesign Validation & Value EngineeringProcurement & Material ControlEngineering Governance & ComplianceResponsibilitiesEnsure all contract specifications, consultant requirements, and statutory regulations are followed throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and manage material submittals ensuring compliance with project specifications and consultant requirements.Maintain a material approval register and ensure timely submission and approvals.Prepare method statements and risk assessments in line with project HSE and QA/QC requirements.Manage and track procurement schedules and long-lead items, ensuring timely delivery of materials.Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.Manage and coordinate engineering drawings and documentation, ensuring approved drawings are issued to site teams.Supervise engineering coordination with drafting teams and maintain a drawing submittal tracker and look-ahead schedule.Support value engineering initiatives and prepare material take-offs with Senior Engineers and Construction Managers.Review design, engineering, and installation details to ensure compliance with project specifications and performance requirements.Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure installations meet quality standards and programme milestones.Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate as per design and project requirements.Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates and engineering support.Identify and resolve technical issues on site to maintain safety, quality, and programme targets.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update departmental dashboards, trackers, logs, and reporting systems.Prepare weekly and monthly management reports, presentations, and departmental updates.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of procurement and operational data.Monitor procurement status information and maintain visibility across live projects.Coordinate reporting requirements across Procurement, Engineering, Commercial, QA/QC, and Management teams.Support governance initiatives by maintaining structured reporting and documentation systems.Assist in the development and implementation of reporting tools and digital platforms.Track departmental KPIs and provide insights on trends, performance, and operational activities.Coordinate meetings, action trackers, and follow-up activities.Support process improvement initiatives through data analysis and reporting enhancements.Ensure information is maintained in a structured and accessible format for management review.Skills and CompetenciesEssentialStrong understanding of MEP systems, particularly mechanical and plumbing installations.Experience managing engineering deliverables, drawings, submittals, and procurement tracking.Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and project programme coordination.Strong coordination skills with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.Proficiency in MS Office and Autodesk Revit.DesirableExperience working on data centres, mission-critical facilities, hospitality, commercial, or large-scale mixed-use developments.Experience with BIM 360, ACC, or other Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.Familiarity with local authority requirements and approvals within the UAE.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 5+ years of experience within MEP contracting, construction, or mission-critical projects.Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.Experience working with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project
