Join us as we set new benchmarks in construction and project delivery.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all site activities. The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring that construction works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.The role acts as a key technical link between the site team, QA/QC, planning, procurement, subcontractors, and consultants, supporting smooth project execution and timely progress.Key Responsibilities IncludeSite Execution & CoordinationSupervise and manage day‑to‑day construction activitiesCoordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractorsReview and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical specificationsEnsure execution aligns with approved drawings and project requirementsPlanning & Progress MonitoringCoordinate with the Planning Engineer for weekly and monthly updatesPrepare look‑ahead programs and identify delaysPropose recovery actions to maintain progressMonitor manpower, materials, and equipment allocationTechnical & Engineering SupportProvide technical solutions to site issuesRaise RFIs for missing or unclear informationEnsure proper implementation of method statements and ITPsMaterial & Procurement CoordinationPrepare material take‑offs and coordinate material requestsFollow up with procurement on timely deliveryEnsure delivered materials comply with approved MIRs and specificationsQuality AssuranceCoordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure timely inspectionsEnsure compliance with QCP, ITPs, and project specificationsRectify quality issues and minimize reworkHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE)Ensure implementation of HSE procedures on siteCoordinate with HSE teams to eliminate unsafe practicesDocumentation & ReportingPrepare daily and weekly progress reportsMaintain site diaries, material logs, inspection logs, and work recordsAssist with as‑built drawings and handover documentationStakeholder CoordinationCoordinate with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvalsAttend technical and progress meetings and present updatesSupport resolution of site disputes and technical mattersQualificationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringExperience as a Project Engineer in buildings or villa constructionStrong technical knowledge of civil, structural, MEP coordination, and finishing worksExperience with main contractors in the UAE preferredProficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; Primavera P6 is an advantageSkills & CompetenciesStrong technical understanding of construction methodsExcellent communication and coordination skillsGood leadership and team management abilitiesStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong documentation and reporting capabilitiesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)On-time delivery of assigned worksQuality of execution with minimal rework or NCRsProductivity and efficient resource managementAccuracy of site documentation and reportingClient and consultant satisfactionCompliance with HSE standardsAdditional InformationNova International General Contracting is an equal opportunity employer.
