Project Engineer

About this role:Review, prepare and ensure the availability of all required project documentation of assigned activities prior to submission to the client, supplier, or in-house other departments.Liaise, co-ordinate and follow-up with other departments, suppliers for their activities and deliverables.Liaise with Engineer (consultant) during execution of the project for deliverables and follow-ups.Monitor and report to the Construction Manager, the progress, the short falls, and the critical issues of the project.Interaction with project team members on a day-to-day basis.Ensure the timely approval of the delivered Goods and works.Interaction with all relevant departments on a requirement basis.Follow and implement the Department procedures, Company’s Quality/HSEM/ISM Procedures as applicable.Interacts with Operation Manager and other Department Managers and personnel at various levels frequently.Maintain a healthy & safe environment at the workplace.Follow the rules and regulations according to the company policy.Prepare construction schedules, manpower and Equipment estimation, material requirement for the review of the Construction Manager.Implement and monitor Company Quality HSE & ISM Safety Management System to full Project team at all locations.Interaction with project team on day-to-day basis; with other heads of the departments, sections on requirement basis.Interaction with subcontractors and suppliers also, either directly or through department I section heads.Follow the rules and regulation according to the company policy.Full coordination with CM , planning engineer , and technical teamOccupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities: In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.Information Security responsibilities: Comply with Basatin Information Security PoliciesBe aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilitiesEnsure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness TrainingKnow how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or AntivirusRestrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentialityQualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Irrigation, MEP, Electrical, or Agriculture).Min 4 years’ experience in relevant fieldMin 2 years’ experience in this position or min of 1 project completed in the same positionLeadership and team coordination skills with the ability to manage diverse site teams effectively.Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, project execution, and engineering principles.Excellent knowledge in AutoCAD and MicrosoftExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to show good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination and reporting.Thorough understanding of HSE standards, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.Committed to continuous improvement, professional integrity, and operational excellence.
