Project Engineer

We are hiring - Project Engineers (2 nos.)Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role includes reviewing technical drawings and specifications, monitoring project progress, and ensuring work is carried out according to design, safety, and quality standards. The Project Engineer collaborates with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues, manage project documentation, and coordinate materials and resources. Daily tasks include assisting with scheduling, cost control, and reporting, as well as conducting site inspections and supporting compliance with local regulations and client requirements. The individual in this role contributes to timely delivery of projects and continuous improvement of engineering and construction processes.Key requirements:Minimum 8 years of proven experience in construction/project engineering.Extensive experience in construction project coordination and site execution.Dubai Municipality and/or Abu Dhabi Municipality certification/accreditation is required.Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, authority requirements, building codes, standards, and procedures.Proven experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and relevant government authorities.Strong ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and project documents.Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, quality control, and construction procedures.Excellent technical, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.Key responsibilities:Coordinate and monitor day-to-day construction activities and project execution.Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.Review technical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other project documentation.Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower, materials, and resources.Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, and technical documentation.Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of construction works.Identify and assist in resolving technical, operational, and coordination issues.Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality requirements, and applicable UAE regulations.Coordinate inspections, approvals, testing, and authority requirements as necessary.Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to project requirements.Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager in achieving project milestones and successful project delivery.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering field.Minimum 8 years of relevant construction/project engineering experience, preferably in the UAE or Middle East.Dubai Municipality and/or Abu Dhabi Municipality certification/accreditation.Knowledge of construction methods, project coordination, technical documentation, quality management, and HSE requirements.Experience in managing and coordinating medium to large-scale construction projects.Steel Structural Accreditation/Certification is an advantage.Trakhees accreditation/certification is a plus.Interested candidates who meet the above requirements are invited to submit their updated CV to hr@itecuae.ae.Join our team and bring your technical expertise to deliver safe, high-quality, and successful construction projects across the UAE!#Hiring #ProjectEngineer #ITECGroup #ITECConstructions #ConstructionJobs #Construction #UAEJobs #DubaiJobs #AbuDhabiJobs #DubaiMunicipality #AbuDhabiMunicipality #Trakhees #SteelStructural #SteelStructure #ImmediateJoiner #EngineeringJobs #ProjectEngineering
