JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT ENGINEERReporting To: Managing Director / Operations ManagerRole SummaryWe are looking for a proactive and results-driven Project Manager to manage and execute residentialbuilding projects (G+4).The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per qualityandsafety standards. The candidate will coordinate closely with site teams, subcontractors, procurement,and management to ensure smooth execution.This is a hands-on role requiring strong control over site activities, planning, and coordination.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & SchedulingStudy drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documentsPrepare project schedules and look-ahead plansMonitor progress and take corrective actions to avoid delaysSite Execution & CoordinationPlan and coordinate daily site activities across all tradesEnsure execution as per approved drawings and specificationsCoordinate and manage sub-contractorsEnsure dimensions, levels, and quality before inspections are madeAuthority & Inspection CoordinationCoordinate and obtain the necessary approvals with clients and consultantsCoordinate inspections with authorities (DM, DCD, DEWA, RTA, SIRA,etc.)Ensure timely approvals and compliance with all stakeholders, ie., client, consultant and authorities.Manpower Planning & ControlPlan manpower based on project requirementsMonitor productivity, attendance, and overtimeOptimize workforce utilizationMaterial Planning &ControlRaise and track material requests inadvanceVerify material quality and quantity upondeliveryControl material usage and reducewastageCoordinate with Procurement for timely supplyPlan and manage the concreting worksQuality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure all works meet QA/QCstandardsClose NCRs promptly and maintain quality recordsHealth & Safety ManagementEnforce safety standards and PPEcomplianceConduct toolbox talks and stop unsafe practicesReporting & CommunicationPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reportsConduct coordination meetings and prepare MOM (Minutesof Meetings)Highlight risks, delays, and issues to management,Testing, Commissioning & HandoverManage testing & commissioning activitiesPrepare and close snag listsCoordinate final inspections and approvals for DM CompletionCertificate.Ensure proper project handover and demobilizationAccountability & OwnershipTake full responsibility for project completionEnsure all tasks are completed, verified, documented, and communicated as per companypolicies and protocols.RequirementsEducation & ExperienceDegree/Diploma in Civil Engineering orrelated fieldAround 5 years of experience in construction projectsMandatory: Proven experience in residential building projects (G+4) in UAEStrong familiarity with UAE authority approvals and processesTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, andspecificationsExperience and knowledge in project planning and site execution activitiesFamiliarity in the use of AutoCadSoft SkillsStrong leadership and team coordinationGood communication andreporting skillsAbility to manage multiplesite challenges
