Job Title: Project Engineer - Redox Flow Battery (RFB) Turnkey Projects

Location: Dubai, UAE (with potential for site visits across the UAE and region)Salary: 8 K AEDJob Summary:The Project Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of Redox Flow Battery (RFB) turnkey projects.

This critical role involves overseeing all phases from detailed design and engineering, through procurement and supply chain management, to on-site installation, commissioning, and final handover. The Project Engineer will manage stakeholder expectations, ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Expertise in renewable energy storage systems, particularly RFBs, and a proven track record in managing complex industrial or energy infrastructure projects are essential.

Quality Assurance & Handover:Qualifications:* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Renewable Energy, or related field). A Master's degree is a plus.* Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification) is highly desirable.Experience:* Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in project management, specifically managing complex turnkey projects in the renewable energy, power, or industrial sectors.* Direct experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS), particularly Redox Flow Batteries (RFBs), is highly preferred. Experience with other battery technologies (Li-ion, etc.) will also be considered.* Demonstrated experience in managing projects encompassing design, engineering, procurement, construction/installation, and commissioning phases.* Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards in a fast-paced environment.* Experience working in the UAE or GCC region, with a strong understanding of local regulations, permitting processes, and cultural nuances.Skills & Competencies:* Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Energy Storage technology, electrical power systems, grid integration, power electronics, and relevant international standards.* Project Management Software: Proficiency in project management software (e.g.,, Microsoft Project).* Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of project finance, budgeting, cost control, and contract management.* Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders effectively.* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
