Project Engineer

Company Description Star Fab Technical Services LLC is a UAE-based engineering and technical services company,Star Fab has specialized in GLS, ZINCALUME, and GRP tank supply & installation, as well as installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment for water and steel industry. The team has over ten years of focused experience in sewage treatment plant installation and commissioning, piping, skid fabrication, and container modification. Star Fab employs qualified engineers, supervisors, technicians, and skilled workers who deliver GLS bolted tank and related projects according to client specifications.Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for coordinating and executing engineering projects related to tank installations, mechanical equipment, and associated plant systems. Day-to-day tasks include planning project activities, preparing technical documentation, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves supervising site work, coordinating with engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors, and monitoring project progress against timelines and budgets. The Project Engineer will also liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide technical support, and resolve issues during installation and commissioning. The position requires regular site inspections, problem-solving on technical and execution challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and workflows.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Project Management skills, including experience overseeing installation and commissioning projects in industrial or plant environments.Candidates should possess Project Planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress to meet deadlines and budgets.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients, and for preparing clear technical reports and documentation.Candidates should possess relevant engineering knowledge, preferably in Mechanical/Civil/Industrial engineering disciplines, with familiarity in plant systems and equipment.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent technical education.Proven on-site experience in construction, water treatment plants, Sewage treatment plant,steel plants, or similar industrial projects, with understanding of safety and quality standards.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards, and to use basic project and engineering software tools.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
