Project Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate day-to-day interior fit-out project activities from mobilization through completion.Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.Review and interpret approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements, and project requirements.Plan and monitor project activities to ensure works are completed according to approved schedules and deadlines.Supervise site execution and ensure proper quality, workmanship, safety, and compliance.Coordinate with design and technical teams regarding shop drawings, material approvals, RFIs, technical issues, and site requirements.Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities at site.Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal delays.Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress against the project programme.Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, site updates, and project documentation.Coordinate inspections, testing, snagging, rectification, and handover activities.Support project management in monitoring project progress, variations, materials, and resource requirements.Ensure proper coordination between civil, architectural, joinery, MEP, and other fit-out works.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. UAE/GCC experience in interior fit-out projects is must.Strong knowledge of interior fit-out execution and site coordination.Experience handling commercial, F&B, hospitality, retail, residential, or high-end interior projects is preferred.Good understanding of shop drawings, BOQ, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and site-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements.UAE driving licence is must.
