Project Engineer

Job PurposeExecute project engineering tasks related to transformer projects, ensuring technical deliverables are accurate, documented, and aligned with customer requirements. The Project Engineer supports senior engineers and supervisors in coordinating project activities and follows up on cross-functional inputs for timely execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and update technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, technical submittals) under supervision.Follow up with internal departments (design, production, procurement, QA) on assigned project tasks.Support project progress monitoring and maintain accurate records.Participate in inspections and FATs, assisting senior colleagues in documentation and reporting.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements.Assist in resolving technical and operational issues by escalating to senior engineers.Contribute to risk identification and corrective actions under guidance.QHSE Responsibilities Full compliance with current QHSE policies and standards is a specific responsibility of every employee. These responsibilities which are not be delegated, include:Protection and improvement of Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and security of self and others around at all times.Elimination of Quality non-conformances and HSE accidents and incidents.Ensuring consistent and continuous compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, standards and protocols.Creation of safe work environment, managing risks and reduction of exposure to liability.Actively supporting relevant levels of management in implementing Corrective and Risk mitigation actions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience 1-3 years of experience in project engineering or related field.Knowledge of power transformer design and processes.Familiarity with project documentation and standards (IEC, ANSI, IEEE).Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
