Project Engineer - HVAC

The Project Engineer – HVAC is responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and monitoring of HVAC works at the project site in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules. The role involves coordination with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & CoordinationAssist the Project Manager in planning and execution of HVAC works.Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth project delivery.Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs related to HVAC systems.Prepare method statements, work schedules, and material submittals.Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to approved drawings and timelines.Technical ResponsibilitiesSupervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, piping, and ventilation systems.Ensure compliance with project specifications, ASHRAE standards, local authority regulations, and safety norms.Identify technical issues at site and propose effective solutions.Conduct inspections and ensure quality control of HVAC works.Planning & Cost ControlAssist in preparation of work programs and manpower planning.Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability at site.Monitor material consumption and control wastage.Support in variation identification, technical clarifications, and site instructions.Documentation & ReportingPrepare daily/weekly progress reports.Maintain as-built drawings, inspection requests (IRs), and test reports.Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and approvals.Assist in preparation of handover documents and O&M manuals.
