Apply & track with Apply EdgeEmployment Type: Full TimeJob Location: Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab EmiratesJob PurposeThe purpose of this job is to contribute to the governance of projects, ensuring consistent project management practices are adheredto while supporting organizational goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Maintain a set of PMO methodologies, processes, and standards to ensure consistent and effective project management practices throughout the organization. This may include defining project lifecycle phases, creating templates and tools, and establishing governance frameworksTrack and analyze project performance metrics, ensuring projects are progressing according to plan and within established parameters. Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management, detailing key performance areas and areas for improvementIdentify and assess project risks, assist the project team to develop risk mitigation strategies, and establish risk management processes to minimize the impact of potential threats on project outcomes. This includes conducting risk assessments, facilitating risk workshops, and implementing risk response plansFacilitate lessons learned sessions at the end of to capture insights and best practices. Identify areas for process improvement, propose and implement process enhancements, and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO and across projectsEstablish and maintain project documentation, including project charters, requirements, and other relevant documentsMonitor project progress against plans and identify and address any deviations with the Project/PMO SpecialistCompile and analyze project data to provide insights and recommendations for improvementEstablish and enforce project management best practices and standardssConduct project audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedureEnsure that the Project/PMO Specialist keeps the key stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and issues with regular reportingContinuously evaluate and improve project management processesIdentify areas for efficiency gains and implement process enhancementsProvide training and guidance to project teams on best practicesEnsure that the Project/PMO Specialist conducts post-project reviews to analyze project outcomes and identify lessons learnedJob Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineeringMinimum of 5 years of relevant experienceKnowledgeable in CAPM (Certified associate in project management) framework and principlesExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor negotiation skillsStrong analytical thinking and ability to simplify complex technical requirementsProject Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred
