Project Manager – Acquisitions & TransformationWest Midlands | Hybrid | Professional ServicesWe are recruiting for a rapidly scaling, investment professional services business with an active acquisition and transformation agenda.This is a high-visibility role at the centre of the organisation’s growth. Working closely with the Head of PMO, Head of Integration and senior leadership team, you will provide the programme control, governance and management information needed to keep multiple strategic initiatives moving.You will create a clear, firm-wide view of acquisition integrations, transformation programmes and other business-critical projects connecting individual workstreams, identifying risks and dependencies, and ensuring senior leaders have the information needed to make timely decisions. This is not an IT based role so will require exposure to a variety of projects.The role will entail:Maintaining the portfolio roadmap across acquisitions, integrations and transformation programmes.Establishing consistent programme plans, RAID logs, decision logs and reporting standards.Producing clear, decision-focused reporting for senior leaders and the Board.Monitoring delivery against agreed milestones and constructively challenging slippage.Supporting acquisition activity from pre-completion and Day One through to longer-term integration.Identifying dependencies, resource constraints and competing organisational priorities.Tracking benefits, synergies and wider strategic outcomes.Improving PMO systems, dashboards, templates and ways of working.Using technology, automation and AI to create a more scalable PMO infrastructure.Applicants must have:Project Management transformation or integration experience within professional servicesExperience managing a broad range of projectsExperience managing portfolio-level information across several complex programmes.Strong knowledge of programme governance, risk, dependencies, critical paths and benefits realisation.The confidence to work with and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into concise Board-level reporting.Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability, together with experience of project or portfolio management technology.Experience of acquisition integration would be highly advantageous.Exposure to a growing, private equity-backed, acquisitive or professional services environment would be valuable.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, strengthening delivery and operating across a complex portfolio of change.Regular presence in the West Midlands office will be required, so candidates must be within a practical commuting distance.
