About VantariVantari is a UK-based specialist recruitment company with a global presence, connecting exceptional engineering and technology talent with innovative organisations across defence, aerospace, AI, advanced software, telecommunications, and emerging technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the operational anchor between engineering teams and business functions, ensuring the smooth execution of technical projects.Coordinate day-to-day laboratory operations, supporting project delivery while aligning technical requirements with operational processes.Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), vendor coordination, and tender activities.Work closely with Procurement, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Facilities and other internal stakeholders to support project execution.Track project budgets, forecasts, invoices and financial reporting to ensure effective budget utilization and compliance.Support laboratory operations, inventory and asset management, logistics, documentation, and standard operating procedures.Drive process improvements, governance, compliance, and audit readiness across operational activities.Coordinate maintenance schedules, servicing and operational readiness of laboratory equipment and field assets.Support regulatory approvals, certifications and compliance activities where required.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.4+ years' experience in project management, laboratory operations, procurement or technical operations.Experience managing procurement processes including PRs, POs, tenders, vendor onboarding and contract administration.Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking and operational reporting.Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing complex operational workflows.Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba and advanced Microsoft Excel.Experience with laboratory, inventory or asset management is advantageous.Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.PMP, CIPS or other relevant project management or procurement certifications are desirable.
