Project Manager & Process Improvement - AI & Software Delivery

LAI Solutions builds custom AI and software for construction, engineering and mining businesses across WA. We're growing the number of companies we partner with, and we're looking for someone to own project delivery end to end: consult with business owners and leadership teams, lead our developers, and drive internal change that sticks. This is a key role with real ownership and a say in how our company evolves.We're looking for someone who has worked inside construction and wants to take the painful admin off the people running jobs - freeing them up to do their jobs more effectively. Maybe you've checked drawings at 11pm or spent a weekend on a tender. Maybe you've watched a good engineer lose half their week to paperwork. You know the problem. In this role, you'll run and deliver the projects that fix it and evolve the way construction companies work. Why this role mattersYou'll take ownership of project delivery and the transformative change in our clients, you'll be the person clients trust day to day, lead the developers, and help build the delivery function LAI Solutions scales on. As we grow, this seat grows into a senior delivery leadership role with a potential pathway to future equity in our business.What you'll own and runThe client's problem. Run deep discovery with owners, managers and the people on the tools. Map how they work, identify where time, money and compliance gaps leak, and turn it into a clear scope the technical team can build from.The project. Own delivery from the scoping to go-live and long-term adoption in our clients' operations, using the LAI delivery framework. Keep it on track, on scope and on dates.The developers. Be the point of accountability between client and dev team. Set priorities, set them up for success, and check the work against what the client actually needs before they see it.The change. Lead training and go-live so the client's people adopt the system and keep using it. Win over the ones who are wary of new tools and technologies.What success looks likeMonth 1: learn the delivery framework, the tools and the active projects.Month 2: run day-to-day delivery on one project, with the founder alongside for key meetings.Month 3: run two to three projects on your own, with the founder signing off at the gates.Who we're looking forYou've spent part of your career inside a construction, engineering or mining business and understand how jobs are won, priced, run and paid for. You're an action taker who'd rather solve problems and drive toward success than just talk about it.
