Project Manager - Biopharma & Life SciencesAn excellent opportunity for an experienced Biopharma / Life Sciences professional to step into a highly strategic, commercially focused role managing relationships with some of the world's leading pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations.This is not a traditional delivery-focused Project Manager position. You'll work at the intersection of client development, investment, strategy and industry, managing a portfolio of major East Coast US-headquartered organisations with significant operations in Ireland.Please note, this role is with a Government agency, and so operates on a specific salary scale and entry point.The Offer:Salary scale: €83,113-€102,076. Hybrid working from Dublin officeRole will start on a 12-month contractThe roleYou'll take ownership of senior client relationships, understand their Irish operations and global investment priorities, and identify opportunities to secure and expand strategically important projects.Key responsibilities include:Manage and develop relationships with major global Biopharma and Food organisationsIdentify and progress new investment and expansion opportunities within existing client portfoliosDrive transformation opportunities across R&D, digitalisation, sustainability and workforce developmentDevelop a deep understanding of Biopharma industry trends, business dynamics and international policy developmentsBuild compelling investment propositions and present recommendations to senior decision-makersWork closely with US-based colleagues to identify and target new investment opportunitiesInfluence and negotiate with senior stakeholders across industry, government and the wider life sciences ecosystemRepresent Ireland internationally at industry meetings, events and strategic engagementsLead, motivate and develop a team while contributing to broader divisional strategyWhat we're looking forWe're particularly interested in candidates coming from Biopharma, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, MedTech or closely related sectors who can combine strong industry knowledge with commercial and relationship-management capability.You should bring:Strong experience managing complex senior client or stakeholder relationshipsExcellent understanding of the Biopharma / Life Sciences business environmentProven project, business development, commercial or investment experienceStrong negotiation, influencing and presentation skillsExperience developing strategic propositions or business casesStrong leadership capability and the confidence to operate with senior executivesAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver under pressureRelevant Level 8 degree and full driving licenseFlexibility for domestic and international travelThis would particularly suit someone currently operating in Strategic Account Management, Business Development, Commercial Strategy, Investment, Client Development or Senior Project/Programme Management within the life sciences sector.A high-impact opportunity to work directly with major international organisations and help shape future Biopharma investment and growth in Ireland.Next Steps:Please apply with your CV.
