Project Manager - Business Transformation

We are looking for a Project Manager – Business Transformation to lead and deliver strategic business transformation projects for our client, a massive semi-government entity in Dubai. This role requires a strong track record of managing complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives spanning technology, digital, business processes, operations and functional departments.This is a 6-month renewable contract role within the Strategy & Value Creation team, responsible for driving the successful delivery of key transformation projects across the organisation.The role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered against agreed scope, timelines, milestones and business requirements, while managing dependencies, risks, vendors and overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide business transformation projects across technology, digital, processes, operations and functional departments.Manage the full project lifecycle from initial scoping, requirements gathering and planning through implementation, stabilisation and benefits realisation.Translate strategic business objectives into clear project plans, deliverables, milestones and measurable outcomes.Work closely with business and functional leaders to identify transformation opportunities, define requirements and drive implementation.Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across technology, digital, operations, finance, HR, customer experience and other functional areas.Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and the critical path.Lead process improvement, operating model, digital transformation and technology-enabled business change initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve processes, ways of working, systems, customer journeys and operational efficiency.Manage vendors and third-party partners, ensuring deliverables, timelines, dependencies and commercial commitments are effectively managed.Coordinate testing, UAT, process changes, system implementation, migration and rollout activities where applicable.Support change management, stakeholder engagement, communications and business readiness activities across transformation initiatives.Monitor project financials, budgets and commercial aspects of transformation projects.Track project benefits, KPIs and outcomes to ensure transformation initiatives deliver the intended business value.Provide clear project updates, reporting and escalation to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.Work with department heads, senior business stakeholders, technology teams and programme/project teams to drive delivery across the organisation.Manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities within a complex enterprise environment.Knowledge, skills & experience:Strong experience delivering complex business transformation, digital transformation, technology-enabled transformation or enterprise change projects.Experience managing projects spanning multiple business units, functional departments and large stakeholder groups.Strong understanding of business process transformation, operational improvement and organisational change.Experience working across technology, digital, operations and functional business teams.Proven ability to translate business strategy and objectives into structured transformation initiatives and project plans.Strong project management experience covering scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and critical paths.Experience managing vendors, consultants and third-party partners.Experience with technology implementations, digital initiatives, process improvement or system transformation is preferred.Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leaders and department heads.Good understanding of change management and business adoption within transformation programmes.Strong financial and commercial understanding of project delivery.Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams within a large, matrixed organisation.Technology-agnostic approach with the ability to work across both business and technology-led transformation initiatives.Availability: Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or with a maximum 30-day notice period after accepting the offer.We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in United Arab Emirates.
