Projects circa $100m to $500m.Our client is an established and renowned construction project management consultancy offering advisory services in property and project management. They have a diverse project portfolio spanning commercial, retail, industrial and pharmaceutical just to name a few. They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their successful and client focussed team to work on projects up to the value of $500m.As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a large-scale new build industrial project. Candidates can come from a consultancy or head contractor background and ideally have some base build experience. The company holds high value in the stakeholder management element of the job, the ability communicate both verbally and written and client facing interactions coupled with a strong base technical knowledge base as well as design and the ability to administer contracts.Construction experience with major projects or the industrial sector would be ideal. Years of experience:3 – 7+ yearsResponsibilities include but not limited to:Client management and consultationProject Planning/Feasibility studiesRisk ManagementValue EngineeringDesign Management and Value EngineeringProcurement of construction servicesCost control and cost reporting and superintendentCommissioning and post contract duties for handoverOversight and delivery of the projectQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similarMinimum 3 to 5 years+ experience within the construction industrySuperintendent skillsProven knowledge of contract administration and base build constructionStrong negotiation skillsSound understanding of overall construction programmes and plansAble to identify key client and builder obligationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build rapport at all levelsAdvanced computer literacyAdvanced skills with Microsoft ExcelThis is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
