Job SummaryWe are hiring a Project Manager – Information Security for a leading banking client in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing Information Security, Cyber Security, and Data Protection projects within the Banking/BFSI sector, ensuring secure delivery of technology initiatives while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.Job Title : Project Manager – Information SecurityLocation: Sharjah, UAEContract: Yearly RenewableKey ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end Information Security and Cyber Security projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Plan and oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.Collaborate with IT, PMO, Business, and Information Security teams to implement secure technology solutions.Ensure compliance with the bank's Information Security policies and regulatory standards.Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.Support project governance, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.Coordinate with vendors, auditors, and internal teams during security assessments and compliance reviews.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.6+ years of experience in Information Security/Cyber Security Project Management within the Banking/BFSI industry.Hands-on experience managing enterprise security or data protection projects.Strong knowledge of application security, SDLC, firewalls, vulnerability management, technology risk, and security controls.Experience with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, UAE IAS, SWIFT CSP, GDPR, UAE Data Protection, or similar standards.Experience with MS Project, SharePoint, JIRA, Asana, or similar project management tools.Preferred CertificationsCISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, AgilePM, or equivalent certifications.📩 Interested candidates please share updated CV at:sajad.ali@linnk.com
